Mortgage Closing Assistant
Responsible for assisting the Kingwood Branch closing department as directed in the following areas: servicing, processing, lending and serve as a resource for completing assigned projects and task as needed along with other administrative duties.
They will be trained to review all source documents provided by the client for accuracy to create the final closing documents and the closing package, as well as verify any discrepancy with lender and/or title. When necessary, the loan closer assistant will be asked to work additional hours, which may include arriving early, leaving late, and or working through lunch. The loan closer assistant must be able to prioritize assignments and schedule workload to meet timeline requirements and mange a variety of transactions.

What You Bring
2 years’ experience in Operations/Mortgage
Familiar with legal loan documents
Base knowledge of TRID & RESPA timelines as it relates to disclosures
Ability and inclination to make sound decisions
Familiar with mechanics of the Closing Disclosure and Loan Estimate
Knowledgeable with loan products guidelines
Ability to communicate with Clients and assist with resolving situations that may otherwise delay loan process
Require skills that involve simple mathematics problem solving
Able to work overtime as needed
Versed with Change of Circumstance process
Ability to work with multiple computer applications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with technology
Experience with Data Entry and prior experience with various loan operating systems
$19.00 – $22.00 per hour.
